Sustainability and streamlining

Real change

Much has been written about sustainable resources, but it is still not enough. Sustainability goes hand in hand with streamlining production processes and the use of renewable resources. We are aware that the nature that surrounds us is a heritage of inestimable value that must be protected and enhanced. That is why for many years we have been taking care of nature protection and planting new trees, of which we have already planted 10 000 in cooperation with the Štrba Urban Community.

Another step that helps us to streamline our processes is the briquette furnace, which we use to heat our production and office areas. This would not mean much on its own, but as we are a wood production company and this generates a lot of sawdust and wood dust, we have our own briquetting plant and we heat all year round, so to speak, from our own resources. We don't have to buy a single briquette.

Minimalist advice

Our VISION windows are a good example of streamlined production. These windows use 30% less wood and produce 70% less wood waste. At the same time, these windows are designed to meet all the demanding requirements of our customers. For interest, if the window is fitted in the way prescribed for this type, the thermal insulation properties are better than those of windows with D92 or DH92 profile, which are already suitable for passive buildings. This is due to the fact that the entire frame is insulated on the exterior side and only the glass filling is visible.

As an example of an eco-friendly approach, we can also mention that all the paints and stains we use are environmentally friendly. These few things are just the beginning of our journey towards sustainable use of resources. We only have one nature, so let's treat it as such.
