Villa Black Swan
The Black Swan Villa in the Demänovská valley is an example of precise architecture and top-quality Kunaj Premium glazing. Windows with fully recessed frames and extremely subtle sashes let maximum natural light into the interior; the 5 × 2.7 m Slim sliding-lift HS portal has a profile only 68 mm wide. The Minimal range's panel windows continue the building's clean, modern look, while the imposing fixed window in the kitchen - a single pane of glass 5 m high and 2 m wide - provides an unobstructed panoramic view. The oak-panelled entrance door on the inside seamlessly follows the interior panelling and emphasises the aesthetic continuity of the whole space. The burnt wood (shou sugi ban) façade gives the building a deep, permanently rich black tone that neither fades nor greys, and combined with the completely concealed external window frames creates a perfectly clean, undisturbed appearance. This harmonious glazing and façade system guarantees the Black Swan Villa exceptional elegance, high light transmission and long-term aesthetic stability.
